Pokfield Road

Pokfield Road (Chinese: 蒲飛路) is a road in Kennedy Town in the western section of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The southeast end of the road connects with Pok Fu Lam Road, near The University of Hong Kong, and the other with Smithfield. Most of the road is a slope which descends from the Pok Fu Lam Road end to the Smithfield end.
Etymology
The word Pokfield is a portmanteau of the two roads that this road connects, "Pok Fu Lam Road" and Smithfield. However, the word "蒲" in the Chinese name is not the same as "薄" in Pok Fu Lam Road, even though the two have extremely similar pronunciations in Cantonese.
Features
Near the southeast end of the road is a residential complex, Academic Terrace, which is also the name of a nearby minibus stop.
The Pokfield Road Bus Terminus is situated at the junction of Pokfield Road and Pok Fu Lam Road. It was formerly known as "University Hall", which refers to the nearby University of Hong Kong campus.
