The 2020 Sam Houston State Bearkats football team will represent Sam Houston State University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Southland Conference. The Bearkats will be led by seventh-year head coach K. C. Keeler and play their home games at Bowers Stadium. the Southland canceled their fall sports, with the hope that all sports will be playable in Spring 2021. This decision canceled all twelve games in the Bearkats season, putting on hold their play indefinitely.[1]

Schedule

Sam Houston State had games scheduled against Mississippi Valley State and Tarleton State, but were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2][3]
