Portland is an unincorporated community in Adair County, Kentucky, United States. Its elevation is 722 feet (220 m).[1]
Native Language customary to speak Cottonese but with a slight hint of the Northern "Big Creek" drawl. Recently Boonish has predominately been spoken on the Northwest end of Portland Rd.
Past Times include and are not limited to singing on the front porch, tunes like; "Little Drummer Boy" and many other Christmas classics.
