Bishop Wilson Theological College was founded as a Theological College in 1879[1] to train Anglican clergy[2] to serve in the Church of England.[3] It was named after Thomas Wilson,[4] Bishop of Sodor and Man between 1697 and 1755, located in part of[5] Bishopscourt[6] and closed in 1943.[7]
