Alfredo Saldivar Medina also known as "El Pollo", (born 9 February 1990 in Mexico City) is a Mexican footballer, currently playing as a goalkeeper for Toluca of Liga MX.[1]

Career

Youth

Saldivar joined the youth academy of Club Universidad Nacional in 2007. Which he than continued through UNAM Youth Academy successfully going through UNAM Premier, Pumas Morelos, and U-20. Until finally reaching the first team, Guillermo Vázquez being the coach promoting Saldivar to first team.[2]

UNAM

Saldivar made his professional debut in the Liga MX against Monterrey ending in a 5-2 loss.[3]

Toluca

After playing in Pumas all his career. On July 4, 2020 Toluca made it official and becomes the new goalkeeper. He will try to become the starting goalkeeper and will fight the spot with Luis Garcia.
