Dardanus tinctor, the anemone hermit crab, is a species of marine hermit crab in the family Diogenidae.[1] Dardanus tinctor is widespread throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific region, including the Red Sea.[1][2] It reaches a length of 10 centimetres (3.9 in).[2]
