Pate Island (Template:Lang-bg, IPA: [ˈɔstrof ˈpatɛ]) is the mostly ice-free rocky island 667 m long in west–east direction and 390 m wide in the Vedel Islands group of Wilhelm Archipelago in the Antarctic Peninsula region. Its surface area is 12.67 ha.[1]
The feature is so named because of its shape supposedly resembling a duckling ('pate' in Bulgarian), and in association with other descriptive names of islands in the area.[1]
