"Pray" is a song by Swiss artist DJ BoBo. It was released in September 1996 as the lead single from his third album, World in Motion. The single features vocals by American singers Lori Glori and Jocelyn Brown, and the choir United Spirits. "Pray" hit success in Europe, reaching number 2 in Finland and Switzerland, number 3 in France and Germany, number 5 in Hungary and number 6 in Austria. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Pray" peaked at number 13 in October 1996. The single sold to Gold in Germany.[1]

Critical reception

Music & Media wrote about the song: "An excellent combination of a fast radio friendly beat, Eurodance raps and an impressive gospel choir. It's already doing well in the GSA countries, but this should charm EHR programmers everywhere."

The music video for "Pray" was directed by Bernd-Peter Rothfuss.[2]
