Ellen Tamaki is an Japanese American actress known for her role as Niko Hamada in Charmed (2018 TV series) and as Drea Mikami in Manifest.

Early life

Ellen Tamaki is an Japanese American actress from Brooklyn, New York City.[1] Tamaki studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art graduating in 2013,[1] during her time as a student in London she had theatre appearances as lady Anne in Richard lll, and as Caska in Julius Caeser.[1] Tamaki moved to the United States to study at the Boston University College of Fine Arts, graduating in 2014.[2]

Acting career

After landing several small roles in films and television from 2015, Tamaki's first big break came in 2018, whilst working in New York theatre,[3] she was offered the role as police detective Niko Hamada for 16 episodes of the television series Charmed (2018 TV series) .[2] Tamaki followed that television success landing the role of Drea Mikami in the second series of Manifest in 2020. [4]
