Matt Fridy (born January 17, 1976) is an American politician who has served in the Alabama House of Representatives from the 73rd district since 2014.[1][2] Matt Fridy was elected to the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals on November 3, 2020, receiving 1,524,104 votes in an uncontested race in the General Election.[3] He defeated Judge Philip Bahakel in the March 3, 2020 Republican primary with about 66% of the vote.[4]
