Saya Ito (born 7 January 1999) is a Japanese kickboxer and Nak Muay. She is the current WMC World Mini Flyweight champion, the former WPMF World, Interim and Japanese Pinweight champion[3] and the former WBC Muaythai World Mini Flyweight Champion.[4]

Muay thai career

Ito faced Haru Tajima for the WPMF Japan Pinweight title during Tenkaichi 71 In Okinawa.[5] Tajima won the fight by a unanimous decision.[6] They rematched during Tenkaichi 73.[7] Ito managed to capture the title by a unanimous decision. During The Battle of Muay Thai 9 she fought Yoshimi Hatayama for the WPMF Japan Pinweight title. Ito won the fight by a unanimous decision.[8]

She fought Ayaka Miyauchi for the WPMF World Pinweight title during Suk Weerasakreck 10.[9] Ito won the title by a unanimous decision.[10] She defended the title by majority decision in a rematch with Ayaka Miyauchi.[11]

She fought Faa Chiangrai for the WMC World Mini Flyweight title in 2017. Ito won the title by a split decision.[12] In her next fight, she faced Yodying Sit Namkabuan for the WBC Muaythai Mini Flyweight title.[13] Ito won the fight by a unanimous decision.[14]

In December 2019, Saya Ito won the Battle of Muay Thai Atomweight title with a decision win over Nana Okuwaki.[15]
