"Who Dat B" is a song recorded by American rapper Jessi. It was released on September 23, 2019.[1][2] The single was her first release since "Down" in 2018, as well as her first release since moving to Psy's P Nation label.[3][4][5] It was later part of the EP Nuna which was released on July 30, 2020.
Background and release
On September 16, P Nation announced that Jessi would be releasing a new single on September 23.[6][7] P Nation had previously posted a photo of Jessi on Instagram account with the hashtag "Spoiler."[8]
A source later from the agency stated, "As much as people have been waiting for Jessi's comeback, she has created a single of the utmost quality, and we hope people will be excited to see a new side of Jessi."
The first and second teasers were released on September 19,[9][10] the third and fourth teasers were released on September 20,[11][12] and the last teaser were released on September 21.[13]
The single was released on September 23, 2019 with the release of the music video on YouTube at the same time,[14] directed by korilo (August Frogs).[15]
Promotion
Before the single being released, Jessi held her countdown livestream on Naver's V Live to discuss about her comeback.[16][17]
Live performance
Jessi performed in JTBC's Lululala Music on September 25,[18] KBS's KBS Kpop on September 27.[19]
