The Journal of Urban Affairs is a peer-reviewed academic journal published eight times per year by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the Urban Affairs Association. It was established in 1979 and the current editor-in-chief is Igor Vojnovic (Michigan State University).The journal covers metropolitan and community problems and urban society.

According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 1.234, ranking it 7th out of 40 journals in the category "Urban Studies".[1]
