Planning Perspectives is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal of history, planning, and the environment. It is affiliated with the International Planning History Society and is published by Routledge. The editor-in-chief is Michael Hebbert (Bartlett School of Planning, University College London) and the editor for the Americas is Carola Hein (Delft University of Technology).

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus, Social Sciences Citation Index, International Bibliography of Periodical Literature, and the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2013 impact factor of 0.356.[1]
