Rožýšče (Ukrainian: Рожи́ще, Polish: Rożyszcze, Yiddish: ראזשישטש Rozhishch) is a town in Volyn Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as an administrative center of Rozhyshche Raion. Population: 13,245 (2015 est.)[1]. Before the Holocaust 80 percent of the population was Jewish, and after the war all the survivors left the town [citation needed].
