The Mitsubishi AAM-1 was a Japanese infrared homing air-to-air missile developed from the AIM-9E Sidewinder missile. Approximately 330 were produced between 1969 and 1971. Its performance characteristics are similar to Sidewinder, but it is slightly shorter and lighter, with a maximum range of just 7 km (4.3 mi).

Improved version with an all-aspect seeker was named AAM-2.
