The Aachen Lacquer Shield Owl (German: Aachener Lackschildmövchen) is a breed of fancy pigeon developed over many years of selective breeding. Aachen Lacquer Shield Owls along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons are all descendants from the rock pigeon (Columba livia).
