Abay District ([Абай ауданы, Abay awdanı] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a district of Karagandy Province in central Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Abay.[1] Population: 53,214 (2009 Census results);[2] 65,306 (1999 Census results).[2]
