Aboona or Abuna (Syriac: ܐܒܘܢܐ) is a Syriac title of religious figures literally means "our father". The name is also used in Arabic and Amharic with the same meaning. (See Abuna) A renowned Church of the East and later Chaldean Catholic family from Alqosh is also known by this name.
