Achchani is a 1978 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Karaikudi Narayanan, starring Muthuraman, Lakshmi and Ashokan.[1]

The film has the classic song Maatha Un Kovilil Mani Deepam Yettrinen... [2]

Achchani is an emotional family film.

The song "Maatha Un Kovilil" was well received.[3] Raja later reused the same tune in Naan Kadavul (2009).[4][1]
