Adam Fleming is a British news reporter, currently working as a political correspondent for BBC News and reporter for Daily Politics. He is perhaps best known for his work on CBBC's news programme, Newsround. He has also reported for Sportsround.

Early life and career

Educated at Shawlands Primary School and then Hutchesons' Grammar School, an independent school in Glasgow, from 1989 to 1998, as a teenager Fleming had the opportunity to direct productions for the Scottish Youth Theatre, and then went on to Hertford College, Oxford where he studied Geography and edited The Oxford Student newspaper - graduating from Oxford University in 2001, with a first class degree.

He has worked in journalism for the Herald newspaper in Glasgow, the Daily Record and STV, and has been sponsored by BBC News on a postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at City University, London.
