Adam Matthew Nagaitis (/nəˈɡtɪs/;[1] born 7 June 1985) is a British actor, best known for his role as Cornelius Hickey in the AMC television series The Terror. He also plays the firefighter Vasily Ignatenko in the HBO miniseries Chernobyl.[2]

Early life and education

Adam Nagaitis was born in Chorley, Lancashire.[3] He studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York[4] and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.[5][6]
