Aepus marinus is a species of beetle in the Carabidae family.

Description

The beetle's size is 2.5 millimetres (0.098 in), and is reddish-yellow coloured.[1]

Distribution

The species is found throughout North Europe, in countries such as France, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway and Sweden.[2]

Habitat

The species lives in rock crevices and under stones. It can also be found in clay-like gravel and sand along the coastline, as well as occasionally in driftwood.[3]
