Age and Ageing is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering all aspects of geriatric medicine and gerontology. It was established in 1972 and is published by Oxford University Press. It is the official journal of the British Geriatrics Society and the editor-in-chief is David Stott (University of Glasgow).

Abstracting and indexing[edit]

The journal is abstracted and indexed in CINAHL, EMBASE, Science Citation Index, Scopus, and MEDLINE/PubMed. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 3.642, ranking it 9th out of 50 journals in the category "Geriatrics & Gerontology".[1]
