Alan Dean (born 2 April 1962) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Bedfordshire. He was born in Potton, Bedfordshire.

Dean represented Bedfordshire for four seasons in the Minor Counties Championship, and made one Holt Cup appearance in 1991. His only List A appearance came during the same season, against Worcestershire. He scored a duck and made bowling figures of 2-20, capturing the wickets of Test cricketers Steve Rhodes and Graeme Hick.
