Aleksandras Machtas (Alexander-Zisel Macht, Sasha Maht) (18 October 1892 – 14 January 1972) was a Lithuanian chess master.[1]

He twice played for Lithuania in Chess Olympiads:

He took 7th in the first Baltic Championship at Klaipėda 1931. The event was won by Isakas Vistaneckis.[4]

In 1935, he emigrated with his family (son Yaacov Macht and others) to Palestine (then British Mandate).[5]
