The Alexander Brown House in Syracuse, New York is a Romanesque Revival sandstone and tile home built in 1895.[2] It was the home of Alexander T. Brown, co-founder of Brown-Lipe-Chapin Company, a firm that was absorbed into General Motors.[3] Brown was a successful inventor and manufacturer. He added such engineering features to the house as a hydraulic elevator and a house-wide vacuum cleaning system.[4]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988[1] and is located at 726 West Onondaga Street in Syracuse.
