Gold medal – first place 1924 Paris Team Competition

Alfredo Ghierra (August 31, 1891 – November 16, 1973) was an Uruguayan football player who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics.[1]

He was a member of the Uruguayan national team which won the gold medal in the Olympic football tournament, as well as the South American Championship (today's Copa América) three consecutive times: 1923, 1924 and 1926 (they withdrew for the 1925 edition).

Ghierra played club football for Universal and Nacional.
