Alfredo Bojalil Gil (Teziutlán, Puebla, August 5, 1915 – Mexico City, October 10, 1999), also known by his nickname El güero, was a singer and founding member of the musical trio, Trio Los Panchos. As a member of Los Panchos, he was the third voice and player of the requinto, a small guitar which he invented [citation needed], and is now a staple instrument.
