Ali Tanrıyar (born 15 March 1914 in Eleftheroupoli, Greece) is a Turkish politician, former interior minister of Turkey and former chairman of the Turkish sports club Galatasaray.

After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine he worked as consultant in Taksim Hospital. He was one of the founders of Motherland Party and twice elected as member of national parliament. He was the Interior Minister of Özal government. In 1986 he was elected as Galatasaray president until 1990. Galatasaray won two league titles and two national super cups, while Tanrıyar was the president. He is married with one child and celebrated his 100th birthday in 2014.[1]

He is also the brother-in-law of ex-Prime Minister of Turkey Turgut Özal.
