Ali Umar (born 5 August 1980) was a Maldivian footballer until 2013. He retired his professional football career and he was a Member of the normalization committee appointed by FIFA to Football Association of Maldives from 2 December 2014 to 31 May 2016, currently he is the Vice President of football association of Maldives.

Ali Umar is also a member of the Maldives national football team.
