Allahabad Metropolitan Area is a city area consisting of city of Allahabad and its adjoining Municipalities and Panchayats. It has a metropolitan population of 1,216,719 including 655,734 males and 560,985 females in Census 2011. The area consists of Allahabad Municipal Corporation, two census towns and several other out-growths.[1]
