Allu Venkata Satyanarayana was a 4-time MLA from Palakol (Assembly constituency). He as contested as Telugu Desam Party MLA candidate in 1983, 1985, 1989, 1994, 1999. He won in 1983, 1985, 1994, 1999. He lost in 1989 elections. He was a close relative to Allu Rama Lingaiah. He started his political career as Municipality Ward Conuciller. He worked as Andhra Pradesh Agro Based industries chairman in 1988 and Assembly text Books committee chairman in 1999.
