Aloomba, Queensland is a small rural area in the south of Cairns, Queensland within the local government area of Cairns Region.[1]

Geography

Aloomba is a discrete settlement away from the highway, mostly populated by people living on sugar cane farms.

History

Aloomba State School, circa 1914

Aloomba State School opened on 15 May 1899.[2]
