Syed Altaf Bukhari is currently the MLA in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from Amira Kadal constituency for the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party[1] and newly elected Education Minister.[citation needed] Previous PWD Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari also holds the interim finance minister for the state of J&k after Former financial minister has been sacked by the ruling party
