Biography

She was named an alternate member of the 2000 US Olympic team, but was unable to compete because fellow alternate Tasha Schwikert (the other alternate member) was instead selected in place of an injured Morgan White. Beckerman competed on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) intercollegiate gymnastics team from 2001 to 2003 while pursuing a degree in sociology.
