Amata cantori is a species of moth in the genus Amata (or Syntomis) of the family Arctiidae ("wooly bears" or "Tiger moths").[2] It is found on Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.
Adults are robust and black. The abdomen is completely black and the hindwing has a small transparent spot anterior of the center.[3]
