The American Museum of Immigration was a museum located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It was dedicated on September 26, 1972 in a ceremony presided over by President of the United States Richard Nixon.[1]

The museum closed in 1991 following the opening of an immigration museum on nearby Ellis Island.[2]
