Amerila shimbaensis is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Häuser and Boppre in 1997. It is found in south-eastern Kenya and Tanzania.[1]

The length of the forewings is 29–32 mm. The wings, head, thorax and base of the abdomen are ivory-coloured. The wings are densely scaled.[2]
