Anarchist uprising in Spain (January 1933)
Appearance
An anarchist uprising occurred in Spain in January 1933. The uprising that begun in January 8 was poorly organized, and met with little success; it was put down by the Spanish army within days.
Affected provinces included Catalonia, Valencia, and parts of Andalusia.
