Latvian pianist Andrejs Osokins was born in 1984. Having studied the piano from an early age, in 2003 he was accepted to study piano at the Latvian Academy of Music where he won the Yamaha Scholarship Award.[1][2][3]

In 2012 he placed 4th at the Leeds International Piano Competition
