Antipater of Sidon

Antipater of Sidon (2nd century BC) is an ancient Greek writer and poet. He is best known for his list of Seven Wonders of the World. He and the mathematician and engineer Philon of Byzantium (born about 280 BC in Byzantium, present Turkey) are known as the most famous observers of the Seven Wonders.
