Anton Blackwood is a footballer who plays for Haringey Borough. He is an Antigua and Barbuda international.[1]

Club career

Blackwood's early career was at Arsenal, before he was released in 2009. He then joined Tottenham Hotspur on a one-year contract.[2]

He played one league game for Aveley in October 2011,[3] then moved to St Albans City in February 2012,[4] and Barton Rovers in September 2012.[5][6]

At the start of the 2013-2014 season Blackwood signed for Thurrock.[7] He was released at the turn of 2013.[8] In the summer of 2014 he was signed by Cheshunt,[9] and by Haringey Borough in the summer of 2015.[10]

International career

He made his international debut on 29 February 2012 in a friendly match against Trinidad & Tobago. Unfortunately he was injured and had to be substituted after 16 minutes of the match.[11]

Personal life

Anton Blackwood is the brother of Queens Park Rangers prospect Tyler Blackwood.
