Antoine, or Anton Mirou (1578, Antwerp – 1621/1627, Frankenthal), was a Flemish Baroque landscape painter of the Frankenthal school.

Biography

According to the RKD he moved with his family to Frankenthal in 1586 and declared that he was 24 there in 1602.[1] He painted landscapes and is considered a member of the school of Frankenthal.[1] The school of Frankenthal[2] included the painters Gillis van Coninxloo, Pieter Schoubroeck, and Hendrik van der Borcht the elder & son.[3]
