Antrodia cinnamomea is a fungus species .[1] It causes brown heart rot of aromatic tree Cinnamomum kanehirai. It is used in Taiwan medicine as a remedy for cancer, hypertension, and hangover.[2] Annual market is worth over $100 million (US) in Taiwan alone. Recently, the 32.15 Mb genome containing 9,254 genes was sequenced.[3]
