Aoi-ku, Shizuoka

Aoi-ku (葵区, Aoi-ku) is a ward of Shizuoka, Shizuoka, Japan, located in the western part of Shizuoka City. The ward is home to both the Shizuoka city offices as well as the Shizuoka prefectural offices.

The east of Aoi-ku faces Shimizu-ku, the south faces Suruga-ku.

The population of Aoi-ku is 264,777 as of May 31, 2005.
