There are some prominent festivals celebrated in Sri Bala Balaji Devasthanam like "Kalyana Mahotsavam" and annual Brahmotsavam starting from Jyestha Sudha Dasami to Jyestha Sudha Chaturdasi (that falls in the month of June).

Mukkoti Ekadasi, which comes sometime in December, is also celebrated in the temple.

On the day of Dussera (or Vijayadashmi) somewhere in the month of September or October, "Laksha Kumkuma Pooja" and "Semi Pooja" is performed to Goddess Padmavathi in the evening. On Karthika Sudha Ekadasi, in the month of October-November, "Laksha Tulasi Pooja" is performed on the Lord Venkateshwara. Another annual prominent festival is in the month of January where "Laksha Chamanti Pooja" is performed to the Goddess Andal on the day of 'Bhogi'.

On all these days, thousands of devotees congregate in Bala Balaji temple to have the divine glimpse of the Lord.

Appanapalli or Appanapalle is a village in Khajipet mandal in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, a state in India. It is very famous for its Handloom industry and is one of the contributors for Bangalore's silk imports/exports.
