Arturo Carmona (born Arturo Aram Carmona Rodriguez on July 9, 1976 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico) is a Mexican actor and former footballer.

Biography

Carmona was born on July 9, 1976 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. He is son of Arturo Carmona and Guadalupe Rodriguez. He has two siblings Judith and Daniel. He started his career as a footballer, but later he graduated to a sports program, his first steps in acting, were in some plays, and as a driver started in a magazine program called Club 34. Debuted in the telenovela Duelo de Pasiones. Next played in La verdad oculta as Mauricio Rivera. In 2006 hosted the program ¡Qué noche! and Hoy a morning television program. He was participated in telenovelas Destilando Amor and Muchachitas como tú. In 2008 starred for the first time as a main antagonist in Cuidado con el ángel[1] with Maite Perroni, William Levy and Helena Rojo. Next participated in telenovelas Mar de amor[2] as co-protagonist, Triunfo del amor,[3] Rafaela, Por ella soy Eva,[4] Corona de lágrimas and La tempestad.[5]

In he 2013 debuted in films, on Las armas del alba. In 2016 he played Fidel in La vecina. In 2017 he starred in Blue Demon as Ala Dorada and Enamorándome de Ramón as Antonio.[citation needed]

Personal life

Carmona has dated Jacqueline Bracamontes. In 1998 Carmona dated Mexican singer Alicia Villarreal. The couple got married that same year. In April, 1999 their daughter Melanie was born. Carmona and Villarreal divorced in 2001. Τhere were rumors that Carmona was in a relationship with Karla Álvarez but it has never been confirmed. In April, 2011 Carmona dated actress Aracely Arámbula and after eleven months of relationship , the couple separated in March, 2012. From March 27, 2012 until December 2012 he was in a relationship with Miss Universe 1996, actress Alicia Machado. Recently he has been in a relationship with Karla Pineda since December 2012.
