Asclepias amplexicaulis (Blunt-leaved Milkweed, Clasping Milkweed) is a species of milkweed, in the subfamily Asclepiadaceae,[1] which is cited as a wildflower native to the United States,[2] mostly found in Central and Eastern areas and grown in the spring time. It is found growing in dry fields and open woods, usually in sandy soil and 1–3 feet in height.[3] It contains a poison dangerous to humans and livestock, special care must be taken when using this plant.[4]
