Ashina Moriuji

Template:Japanese name Ashina Moriuji (芦名 盛氏, 1521 – July 28, 1580) was a Japanese daimyo of the Azuchi-Momoyama period. He ruled Kurokawa Castle (later known as Aizuwakamatsu Castle) and its environs. He was also responsible for building Mukaihaguroyama Castle, which he used as a residence when in retirement. The castle was completed in 1561.[1]
